A domestic example is the replacement of old window frames with P.V.C. units. If there is not a supporting lintel, the new window may be holding up several tonnes of brickwork. This problem can be solved using an economical, virtually invisible, Thor Helical repair system.

Failed Lintel Repair or Retro Fit Lintels Pairs of Heli-force bars inserted within the horizontal mortar bed in Thor Flexigrout, between 1 and 12 masonry courses apart create a lintel capable of carrying the brickwork over the opening, without the need for costly and unsightly rebuild work. Crack Stitching Heli-force Bars and Thor Flexi-Grout are used within Horizontal mortar beds to restore structural integrity of the wall. The 1000mm long bars distribute the forces evenly along the wall removing the possibility of mirror cracking, post repair.

Masonry Beam Creation Heli-force bars used in pairs and bedded in Thor FlexiGrout are spaced between 1 and 12 brick courses apart are used to create masonry beams, or re-inforce masonry panels capable of spreading the load of the building more evenly over existing ground weakness.
