Structural Waterproofing

Below Ground Waterproofing

At the Cook Group, we offer a complete service for waterproofing structures, whether below or above ground. It doesn't matter if it's a building yet to be built, a 400 year old mansion or a road tunnel under a river!

We are one of the founding members of the Basement Living Group which possesses the knowledge and expertise to carry out first-rate cellar conversions. In addition, David Cook, our managing director, is the only professional in Hull to be qualified as a Certificated Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing: official recognition of his capability.

We specialise in upgrading existing cellars and basements and have many years’ experience in this field as well as many happy customers, who have maximised the potential of their living space.

Lift Pits

We have also dealt effectively with many waterproofing problems, including leaking and flooding lift pits.  Leaking lift pits whether existing or new construction are our speciality. We can even deal with leaking swimming pools!

Architects, designers and building contractors, regularly utilize our specialist experience to assist in new-build projects. A building may have a basement due to the added space it brings, or maybe it is being built into a hillside or soil excavation has proven to be too expensive.

Old, new, or planned: if there’s a problem or a project that requires Structural Waterproofing, we guarantee to offer the correct solution.

And you can rest assured that our specifications and works, where appropriate, will conform to the most relevant British Standards, such as BS 8102.
